How long does it take to complete a Health Screening?

The time required to complete a Health Screening is dependent on the scope of your screening. Most of our Health Screening is completed in about 2 – 3 hours. A second visit may be required to complete some tests.

Do I have to come fasting for my Health Check?

Some very important blood tests (for example Lipid Profile and Blood Sugar measurements) require that you have a 10 -12 hours overnight fast. Your blood sample is usually taken before 10.30a.m of the day of your health check.

How long would I have to wait for my test results?

The time between the completion of your tests & examinations and the discussion of your results is determined by the scope of the screening you are having. Except when a histologic examination is required (usually with Pap Smear) results are ready, compiled and analyzed within 2 – 3 days after completing the Health screening. With the inclusion of histologic examination however, results may take up to 10 days to be ready for discussion with the physician.

Is the process of medical check up painful?

The process of our Medical Check up (Health Screening) is not painful. We have taken steps to ensure that the needle pinch normally experienced in the process of blood sample collection is reduced and almost eliminated with our use of anesthetic spirit swab.

How can I know the Health Check that is appropriate for me?

We can assist you in the choice of the Health Check appropriate for you based on your health risk profile. This is often determined by your age, gender, family health history, your past exposure and any present complaints you might be having.

Would I be able to view some of my test results before they are all ready?

It is possible to view your results, as they are made ready by using a link to a portal, which would be sent to you.

How and when would I be required to pay for my chosen Health Check?

Once you have chosen a Health Check appropriate for you, you would be required to make some payment, which will enable our staff to schedule your screening. Payment can be made by direct transfer into our accounts, through cheque as well as the use of our POS devices.

Do you offer discounts based on the number of people screened in a group?

Yes we do offer discounts based on numbers. The more the number of those to be screened, the more discount we offer.

How can I make use of your gym equipment?

The gym equipment and the eat-well unit makes up our Lifestyle Centre, which can be accessed a complementary service to some of our screening bouquets. Additional sessions are available based on subscription. Limited space is also available for those willing to use the subscription service alone without conducting a health check.

How many copies of my screening report is made available for me?

A copy of the comprehensive report of your Health Check is normally made available to you after going through it with an assigned physician. A reprint is possible on request at no charge. There however be a small amount may be charged for subsequent reprints.

What does it take to conduct Health Check for a group of people at their own site and not at your Screening Suite?

Our Mobile Medical Unit can be deployed for an onsite Health Screening at no additional charge to the group and to those to be screened when the number is right. The right number is also influenced by the scope of the Health Check or the chosen bouquet. Specific details can be obtained from our staff.

Are you able to conduct Health Screening in our premises outside Lagos State, Nigeria?

Our Mobile Medical Unit enables us to conduct Health Checks at locations remote to our Screening Suite. This may be within or outside of Lagos State.

What happens if I require having a specialist review following my Health Check?

There are a number of Health Checks that the relevant specialist will review you during the course of your Health Screening. For other findings that may require that you see a specialist, we are able to assist in arranging for such review to be done at the Screening Suite.
